I loved reading this. In a way it reinforces the direction I’m already headed with Eleventh Room. I’m glad Charlotte is saying it. The future is now and consumers are flipping the script. They are engaging with accessible and practical luxury rather than purely aspirational. I wonder what this means for aspirational SM influencers.

I think there will always be a space for ‘aspirational influencers’, but they will become less. I think we will see more ‘show’, entertainment creators coming through this year. People want to smile.

Think you missed the mark when you say that the democratization of fashion has resulted in more individualism. I think that the vacuum created by the destruction of a singular "it" aesthetic has been filled my different niche aspirational aesthetics; off-duty model afterparty gil, heidi boy, old money, etc etc. Individualism is more or less a myth and even if there is no one aspirational aesthetic, there are many styles many times over to compensate

excellent article as always! may i hear some more of your thoughts regarding platforms that are more dynamic and allow co-creation? im working on something like this for creators and brands to facilitate direct communication and would love to hear your thoughts given your marketing expertise.
